Beautiful World by Tennyson brings back a lot of memories for me. I found out about it through this AMV. Back then I liked to feel the music, not in the sense of rhythm or wanting to dance to it, but more digging into the feeling: what the creators wanted to express with the images they shot, the tones they chose, the sounds they included, the lyrics.
Listening to this song and thinking about the relationship I had back then, I put together this set of images in Photoshop. I was trying to translate that feeling into something visual, with a more poetic sense. Each image is well centered, well cropped, with its meaning. Those were the tools I had back then.
Over time I stopped making this kind of thing, but every time I listen to the song, they're still there.
